Our certified design engineers create a thorough network infrastructure design and capacity plan based on our Clients' unique requirements. The design typically includes a complete bill of material, specifications, physical network/cable/wireless coverage maps, and instructions regarding any special installation needs at each of your sites. We also develop a budget estimate to accompany each design. 

Telecommunications Trace Audit

The network telecommunications trace audit ensures that all aspects of the existing network infrastructure at each of your sites are thoroughly documented. A very popular service for our Clients, the trace audit typically uncovers extensive discrepancies in telecommunications services and billing. Additionally, we can evaluate building access conditions, available power and label all circuits at the facilities various distribution frames.

Site Audit

The foundation of a reliable network installation, the site audit includes on-site measurements and analyses to determine design factors for the network. The end result of these activities is a formal Site Audit Report which documents the findings and the installation/hardware requirements for the site.

Telecommunications Service Availabilty Study

One of the biggest challenges your organization faces when it undertakes a telecommunications upgrade is finding the services that suit your needs, available where you are and at the right price. Contingent can simplify your search process and significantly reduce search costs by conducting a Telecommunications Service Availability Study (TSAS). A completed TSAS includes a price and service menu of all your last-mile voice and data options like T1, Frame Relay, xDSL, VSAT, DOCSIS Cable and others giving you all of the information you need to make an informed decision for each of your sites. The TSAS includes a complete listing of services available by site, custom research with up to the minute pricing and contract terms, a detailed Circuit Availability Matrix of information facilitating comparison of services and a detailed Contract Summary Matrix with standard contract terms summarized with the most relevant items highlighted for ease of comparison.

Asset Inventory

In todays IT environment, the quest for automation and productivity drives innovation. All organizations experience platform obsolecense across their asset base. Different platforms need to be refreshed at different times and control and accountability of those assets is challenging. Further complicating Asset Management is the steady turnover many organizations experience in their IT staffs. Even the systems used to track and manage assets need to be replaced. Contingent deploys teams of technical field "auditors" that gather a comprehensive serialized inventory over a geographically dispersed footprint. Whether the assets are nodes on a network or stand-alone devices, Contingent can document location and capture signatures of responsible parties. Part of an Asset Inventory may be issuing Equipment Custodial Receipts (ECRs) to local managers who are assigned financial responsibility for their assigned assets.
